The front of Fossil Cottage has a paved path and a patio area.
Gravel is laid each side of the path, beyond the gravel path is a small lawn area
It is edged with tree bark and beyond that is an area of meadow which is seeded with grass and wild flowers.
To the right of the cottage a stone stairway has two landings with seating where visitors can sit and relax.
The first landing has a bench and the second has a bistro set.
Low walls, which define the boundaries, are also comfortable to sit on.
One of the landings is immediately outside the master bedroom and is the perfect place to sit and read or enjoy an early morning cup of tea or coffee.
For the real early bird’s it’s also a good spot to see the sunrise.
